At least 3 years’ experience in logistics, support services or operations management, preferably in the humanitarian sector.
Experience of working in the Humanitarian Sector.
Strong knowledge in a number of the areas: procurement, supply chain, warehousing and stock control, transport & fleet management, and distributions.
Ability to analyse contexts, focusing at the big picture while maintaining control and awareness of all its components.
Proven record of organization, management and negotiation skills implementation.
Ability to elaborate, analyse, interpret and implement technical policies, regulations, procedures and guidelines.
Problem analysis and solving, decision making skills, considering available options and concentrating on results.
Good communication and influencing skills. Ability to effectively communicate with multi-level personnel as well as supplies & services providers and their representatives.
Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic.
Computer literate with a high degree of proficiency and productivity.
Ability to work in and contribute to team building environment.
Ability to work independently under minimum supervision. Comfortable to work in tense situations and under pressure
