Trainer On Election & Democratic Process

“One Voice Can Change” project, funded through a grant from Middle East partnership Initiative (MEPI), aims to invest in the youths creativity and encourage them to use the power of media and new technologies to influence their peers and make valuable votes which count.   The project is emphasizing the role of youths in advocating for positive change and lobbying for a just cause. They will contribute by increasing the public awareness and empowering youth voters to become aware of their choice and believe in the power of people in making a change and use the democratic process to participate in the coming elections.   General Purpose: Trainers to take part in a 6 days raising awareness workshop for 30 participants on “Elections' integrity and the power of each vote to make a change” and develop youth’s skills as facilitators especially in public speaking and leadership.   Trainer: Raising Awareness on Elections Raising Awareness Session on Election Integrity: During this 2 days session, participants will realize the power of peoples’ votes, how each voice can count. They will be introduced to the principals’ election’s integrity norms and standards of democratic processing of elections and accountability.   Trainer Profile: . Extensive working experience in conducting trainings preferably with youth. . He/She has skills in developing training contents, analytical and informative material. . Creativity in approaching youth and a dynamic personality to involve the youth in a quality learning experience. . Good social and communication skills . Experience and familiarity with civic engagement, politics, and Lebanese elections.
