Special Education Coordinator

Saida Generations School is a free elementary school and is part of Sidon Orphan Welfare Society. It offers comprehensive educational, instructional, social and recreational services from Preschool to Grade 6, catering to both residents of the Children Residential Unit and day students whose parents are unable to afford the expenses of sending their children to school. The school houses programs designed to serve the students' diverse needs and abilities: 1- Preschool (Nursery, KG1, KG2) 2- Elementary School (Grade 1 through Grade 6) 3- The Learning Support Department offers programs for students aged 6 to 12 who are experiencing low achievement or learning difficulties or who have not previously been enrolled in a formal educational system Job Title: Head/Coordinator of the Learning Support Department Key responsibiltiies: - responsible for adapting the curriculum to match the needs and skills of the pupils with learning difficulties in the Learning Support Department (cycle one) - coordinate with teachers of the regular classrooms as well as the teachers in the Pull-out, reintegration and special classes  - perform continuous screening to the students in order to assess their pre-requisites, skills and potentials - coordinate with the principal and the board members of the school to come up with the best plans in order to attain the school's objectives and meet its mission Working Days: Monday to Thursday+ Saturday
