General Requirements:
Obligatory qualifications
- Language Skills: Fluent in Arabic and English (speaking/reading/writing).
- Education Degree: Baccalaureate/University degree.
- Work experience: Proven experience in NGOs in emergency relief operations or project management.
- Computer skills: Good knowledge of the MS office software including Word, Excel, Outlook

Excellent communication and diplomacy skills to manage relationship in potentially tense situations;
Good knowledge of the Beirut, Mount Lebanon and South governorates geography, willing to travel a lot locally and valid driving license are obligatory;

Objectives
Under the supervision of the Food Security Project Manager, the Food Security Supervisor is responsible for the qualitative, quantitative and timely implementation of the Vouchers for Food project activities.
He/she coordinates and monitors the work of all Field Officers dedicated to these activities and he/she is responsible for a qualitative and regular reporting on various components of the project.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Project Manager, to participate in the overall coordination of the project regarding Food Security,
To analyze the need of the beneficiaries in terms of Food Security
To be in charge of the implementation of the Impact Assessment Survey,
To design and prepare questionnaires and tools for comprehensive needs assessments,
To participate in food vouchers distributions
To manage the Field Officers working on the project regarding the Food Security activities and monitor their work by constantly visiting the areas of intervention,
To train new Field Officers on the Food Security project activities
To contribute to the selection of shops and monitor their work to ensure the respect of the contract’s specification,
To participate in the liaison with local authorities, NGOs and other stakeholders under delegation from the Project Manager.
To participate in the constant evaluation of the project (effectiveness, efficiency, impact, relevance)
To provide quality and timely reporting,
To analyze the security situation in the area and inform the Project Manager on security incidents,
To participate in the evaluation of the humanitarian situation in the region considering possibilities of new projects,
Accomplish any other tasks assigned by the project manager
