WORK CONTEXT / BACKGROUND:   IT strategic goal is to equip World VisionLebanonwith advanced strategic information management systems and technological infrastructure to support the achievement of WVL ministry goals in a cost effective way. PURPOSE OF POSITION:   To provide strategic leadership on information technology and establish information management as a Critical Success Factor for World Vision Lebanonprogram and business processes. To support in providing responsive and proactive technical support to World Vision Lebanon staff in all offices and projects   MAJOR TASKS:   I. Organizational Development  Select and evaluate critical information from internal and external sources to implement IT business solutions and services that support the organizational goals  Evaluate the ministry needs and related business processes and continuously launch interventions to optimize deficiencies. Implement new information systems in alignment with GICT standards  and WV Lebanon strategy Provide strategic leadership and coaching for the IT staff. Ensure a highly motivated team Ensure systematic IT orientation and capacity building approach for WV Lebanon staff   II. ICT Management Establish and maintain a strategic Information Management Business Plan in alignment with organization goals and strategy. Actively support organizational  change through the implementation of global IT projects and initiatives. Manage the IT staff and provide oversight and management of annual quarterly and monthly plans for  IT Department Design project plans and lead the process of implementation of IT projects and objectives as defined in ICT Annual Business Plan. Develop and manage the IT department FY budget. Ensure WVL is compliant with software licenses policies and standards Ensure WVL is aligned with GICT standards Evaluate the connectivity service and related business processes continuously and launch interventions to optimize security and quality.   III. Systems Administration Provide administration and maintenance tasks for the main Server systems and services       ( Win2003, AD, DNS, DHCP, Backup) Provide  technical support management and implementation of new systems and upgrades of core business applications ( Lotus Notes, Sponsorship, Sun System)  Ensure technical requirements for    effective usage of the global systems like Horizon, Sponsorship 2.0, OurPeople, Webex etc.   IV. IT Infrastructure & Security Ensure WVL is equipped with adequate and reliable IT infrastructure (LAN, Servers Internet service, IT equipments) Ensure daily readiness and working conditions of  important and critical business  IT equipments (servers, routers, backup) of WVL Provide recommendation and planning, supervision and decision making for major ICT investments. Ensure Data Security & Backup      infrastructure and system in NO and ADP level   V. Technical support Administer and maintain World Vision Lebanon information technology hardware and software. Administer and maintain World Vision Lebanon business applications including but not limited to the sponsorship department databases. Support in the implementation of the sponsorship 2.0 and sponsorship decentralization plan     VI. Other Responsibilities HEA responsibilities: Be aware of the Humanitarian and Emergency Affairs (HEA) standards and operational imperatives in IT area to ensure that necessary disaster preparedness measures have been implemented to ensure Business Continuity     EDUCATION / SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:             Education Must have a Bachelor degree in IT field Master degree in IT field is preffered             Knowledge and Skills Must be a strategic thinker, who is able to communicate ideas clearly and concisely. Must be fully conversant in the latest developments in the IT field.  Excellent leadership and management skills. Fluent in verbal and written English and Arabic Understanding of financial accountability, and possess budgeting skills.     Experience Must have at least 3 years’ experience in the IT field.   Work Environment   Able and willing to work under the pressure and long hours. Must be able to travel across the country 20 % of time.
