Support in assessing activities, mapping of needs, and identification of MEHE resources for coordination and refugee assistance in an emergency and recovery situation.
Participate in establishing an Emergency Education Strategy and action plan.
Prepare and review related proposals and budgets for the MEHE.
Liaise with the MEHE in the Crisis Committee and with concerned stakeholders and units, including international and national organizations.
Facilitate relevant meetings to be held at the MEHE and keep a record of the proceedings.
Provide the MEHE with coordination support for capacity building activities.
Perform field monitoring of emergency interventions on behalf of the MEHE.
Support communication relevant to emergency coordination activities, including the preparation of situation reports, press releases, awareness material, dissemination of information, and establishing a contact base for emergency response education actors.
Manage emergency related education personnel.
Keep a record of all activities.
