Terms Of Reference: Life Skills Project

  Terms of Reference World Vision –Lebanon Life skills project October 2012   Document Purpose This document outlines the goals of the Parents committees sessions, students awareness sessions and youth training workshops, the responsibilities of World Vision (first party), and the responsibilities of potential contracted second parties. It also defines the process interested second parties must undergo in order to bid for contract fulfillment, as well as a timeframe for overall project success.   Project Description The Life skills based education program aims to help parents, students and youth leaders in dealing with daily practical skills they are in need to. Knowing the above will help the targeted people to create the life they desire and to access their inner resources needed to succeed. Parents awareness sessions on Life Skills will be conducted in 3 Bekaa Area Development Preograms(ADP) / (1 committee in each ADP: Saghbine West Bekaa, Anjar Central Bekaa and Zahle).   Youth workshops on life skills will be conducted for the 3 Bekaa ADPs youth groups.   Students Life Skills awareness sessions will be conducted also in the 3 Bekaa ADPs(1 schools each ADP).   Contractor (Second Party) Specifications A qualified candidate for the second party contractor must: Be organization/trainer able to work with the youth on the Life skills based education curriculum that we developed in the Bekaa area. Be experienced in working on Life skills with parents committees, youth leaders, and students. Review second party reports and provide general oversight as necessary.   Contractor (Second Party) The second party agrees to: Submit a report detailing: Attendance at these sessions Narrative Report   Project Timeframe Bids  submitted: November 2, 2012 Contract signed: November 10, 2012   Required Documents for Bid Potential second party must submit the following documents to be considered for the project: Legal registration/certificate for being an official organization or a certified trainer. Proposed budget, detailing: Sessions cost Workshop costs Field activities costs.
