Distribution Assistants

Save the Children has been operating in Lebanon since 1999 and is recognized for its commitment to accountability, innovation and collaboration.  Save the Children currently implements programs in Child Protection, Education, CRC and Emergency Response throughout Lebanon.   Save the Children is seeking qualified candidates to fulfill the following positions, on 5month/ 6 months  contracts, with possible extentions,   for its Lebanon Country Office, in the following locations Beirut, Tripoli, Akkar and Bekaa:   Distribution Assistants: All field locations (Kubayyat, Tripoli and Bekaa)   The Distribution Assistants will organise and supervise the work of the distribution team, Check quantity and quality of materials loaded into trucks at the warehouses. They will arrange necessary means and manpower for distribution (such as scoops, scales), in addition to on the ground field supervision of the distribution. They will also ensure that beneficiaries receive the correct ration, and report back to the Distribution Officer on Distribution numbers. They will ensure a strict adherence to the principles of Child Protection at all times.     Job Requirements: A High school Degree Good report writing and communication skills – both written and verbal (English and Arabic) Valid Driving License       APPLICATION PROCESS   Please note that the closing date for applications is Sep 30th.   The selection committee will review all applications as they are received.
