Midwife

The Midwife will be part of a medical team which will run a mobile clinic in different villages in Central and West Bekaa. The mobile clinic will provide free primary health care for Syrian refugees and vulnerable Lebanese in the area. Job Description: - Reproductive health Perform antenatal consultations according to the protocols , detect and mention all the risk factors Perform postnatal consultations according to the protocol Perform family planning consultations according to protocol Give systematic prophylactic treatments to the pregnant women Refer to the medical doctor all the pregnant women with a pathology associated to the pregnancy Verify the tetanus vaccination of each pregnant woman Explain the treatment to the patient Fill in the reproductive health tools - Health education Give health education sessions to the patients in the waiting areas. Diffusion of main messages about health education for relevant topics. - Share with the medical coordinator assistant any problem (medical or non medical) occurring during the mobile clinic - Participate in the daily/weekly computerization of  MC data regarding reproductive health data - Participate to MdM trainings and meetings.   Requirements: -      Degree or diploma in Midwifery and professional accreditation (license) as midwife -      A professional experience of 2/3 years minimum is required -      Clinical experience and experience in Primary Health Care or are required -      Work experience with an NGO (local or international) will be an asset -      Fluent in Arabic, good in English (French is an asset). -      Ability to compile statistics, write reports, and IT skills (MS Windows, MS Office, Internet) will be an asset -      Diplomacy, ability to communicate, good relational skills -      Flexibility -      Organizational skills
