Assessment Medical Officer

Job Description: Planification of the assessments with social worker and under responsibility of MDM medical coordinator assistant Data collection on refugees condition: Visit to refugees Visit to authorities Visit to health facilities Visit to the border Visit to partners (UN, NGOs)  Evaluate needs of the refugees Medical (through interview and observation) Inform refugees on health care access in the area Networking with other NGOs, UN, authorities, health facilities Create a link between needs of refugees and existing response Daily report to the MDM medical  coordinator assistant Final assessment report at the end of the assignment Any other additional duty as required by the supervisors   Requirements: -      Medical background (nurse, midwife, doctor…) -      A professional experience of 2 years minimum is required -      Work experience with an NGO (local or international) is required -      Knowledge on refugees issue will be an asset -      Experience in conducting studies and assessments will be an asset -      Fluent in Arabic and English (French is an asset). Candidates with fluency in Arabic and French and strong experience might also be considered. -      Diplomacy, ability to communicate, good relational skills -      Flexibility -      Organizational skills
