Responsibilities:
Effectively manage daily program, including planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluating, and reporting (Pipeline Review, Implementation Plan). Conduct routine project needs assessments and program reviews to ensure successful implementation and donor compliance
Manage MH Dept. and subsequent team, ensuring that, training needs are met and performance evaluated.
Manage and direct the MH Consultant as required by the program.
Identify potential new donors and projects in the sphere of MH & Psychosocial programming and follow up in conjunction with the CD on same.
Represent IMC at relevant coordination meetings - UNHCR, UNICEF, et al.. Liaise closely with any new or previous sub grantees if issues arise on program implementation, reporting, etc.
Part of IMC Lebanon country management team for strategic planning, etc.
Submit data required for monthly reports and Board updates as required by the CD.
Ensure the all donor requirements and regulations are understood and adhered to in full.
Manage & monitor the MH sections of RAIS ensuring confidentiality respected.

Qualification/ Skills:
1. The qualified candidate will be a mental health specialist with extensive psychosocial programming experience; or equivalent degree with 5 + years in setting up or establishing psychosocial programs
2. In depth knowledge of Psychosocial programming in the humanitarian context a must;
3. Familiarity with IASC Guidelines on Mental Health and Psychosocial Support In Emergency Settings
4. Training experience required
5. Strong organizational and supervisory skills with excellent reporting & writing skills
6. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work within different cultural environments
7. Honest, hard working and a self-motivated person
8. Ability to work within a team structure or in isolation, flexible, and can cope with stressful workloads and working with limited resources
9. An excellent command of verbal and written English and Arabic
