Psychosocial Worker

Based in northern Bekaa, under the direct responsibility of the disability and vulnerability focal point (DVFP) project officer in close collaboration with DVFP team, you will  1.     Identify specific psychosocial needs of our beneficiaries, contributes to the assessment of these needs and/or directly assesses these needs as required Work with a social worker as mobile team to identify, register and analyse beneficiaries specifics needs Develop a community approach to ensure a confidence in HI process and project Ensure a global vision of the individual and familial needs in the identification         Deliver appropriate specitif needs if need arise 2.     Assesses vulnerable persons’ psychosocial and psychological issues and refer internally as needed respecting confidentiality and the right of the beneficiary. In a close mobile work team system, with psychologist technical advices and support, assess psychological needs and issues In a close mobile work team system, with social worker and psychologist support, assess psychosocial needs and issues Assess all protection issues at individuals and familial level Refer all cases identified internally to the psychologist and the DVFP project assistant, within the internal system in place 3.    Participates in the analysis and reporting of psychological and psychosocial issues in the refugee population  In formal and informal meetings with the team, participate to a qualitative analysis of the psychosocial and psychological issues, at individual and families level Participate to report with the tools and the internal system all issues identified Be part of a constructive holistic team work to develop a very qualitative analysis and response for disables and vulnerable persons  4.     Implements psychosocial support for individual, families for psychologically vulnerable persons identified and protection cases adapted to the needs identified, in link with the psychologist  In close collaboration with the psychologist, implement activities and support within the communities Participate to any relevant activities to support individual in need of protection   5.     Conducts specific psychosocial group activities and focus group (adapted and appropriate to each one’s specific needs and capacities) and ensure follow up of the beneficiaries.  Participate and conducts psychosocial discussion group, focus group with individuals, families, hosting communities (...) Ensure a qualitative follow up of the beneficiaries Participate to the reporting of activities and evolution of the beneficiaries psychosocial situation   6.     Work in very close collaboration with community based social workers in the implementation and animation of social activities   Participate to activities and support with the social worker to develop social links and well being   7.     Reports data and analysis under the supervision of the DVFP Project officer  Ensure a quantitative and qualitative reporting through the tools (follow up form, data base  and report sheets )and system in place Participate to the improvement of the analysis of the reporting system in link with field information   8.     Work in supporting our partner to develop and implement psychosocial activities   Work with the partner and volunteers to create and implement psychosocial activities in the center and the community Participate to the activities and the monitoring Procure any support to facilitate partner’s work   9.     In specific cases, and if the beneficiary agrees, do mediation and conflict resolution In link with the psychologist and the social workers, participate to mediation between beneficiaries and families or between families and other structures.
