Education Program Assistant

The Education Program Assistant is expected to represent Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) Lebanon in a responsible manner and always to act in accordance with the NRC Code of Conduct. JOB PURPOSE: •To support the Education team in the daily organization of activities •To take responsibility for up-dating planning of activities and for planning corresponding purchases DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Program support: -To provide organizational and logistical support to NRC Education team in activities organized for mothers/ parents and students -To participate in preparation and implementation of events at school level -To participate in preparation and editing of communication tools (example: school newsletters) -To participate in preparation and implementation of research -To support the conception and production of training material -To support data collection for monitoring and evaluation purpose -To define with the education team a planning tool and to take responsibility for it -To take responsibility for planning purchases (material, gifts…) and following up with NRC logistic department -Any other duties as agreed upon with the Education PM Administration: -Attend meetings to take down and edit minutes. Experience Required Strong English and Arabic language skills Team player Ability to work autonomously IT skills (Word, Excel, Photoshop…) Ability to multi-task Educational Requirements Degree in relevant field Additional Qualities a Successful Candidate Should Possess Experience working with NRC Lebanon is an asset Knowledge and understanding of Palestinian refugees situation Strong planning skills Capacity to work under pressure
