Developing Rehabilitation Assistance to Schools and Teachers Improvement (D-RASATI) will improve educational outcomes in Lebanon by improving teacher and student performance, increasing community and parental involvement, and improving the school learning environment. D-RASATI is funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

Title: Administrative Liaison
Summary: Education Development Center is seeking an Administrative Liaison to provide administrative support to project activities within the MEHE, including meeting coordination, scheduling of events, travel arrangements, facilitation of approvals and other support services as required. The Administrative Liaison will effectively interact with a diverse staff at the MEHE and at the D-RASATI offices, engage as a member of a team, accept feedback, troubleshoot questions or problems and will seek help, supervision and support as needed. This position reports to the DCOP of D-RASATI. The position is located in Beirut, Lebanon.
Essential functions include [but are not limited to]:
Facilitate communication between D-RASATI and MEHE pertaining to administrative matters;
Compose/edit letters and official documents from D-RASATI for presentation to MEHE;
Facilitate approvals and signatures between MEHE and D-RASATI;
Coordinate and plan project-related events with MEHE;
Maintain records and files related to communication between project and MEHE;
Coordinate meetings and appointments between MEHE and D-RASATI;
Work within the context of the D-RASATI work plan to plan for and forsee administrative tasks that will be necessary up front to facilitate implementation of specific work plan events and tasks.
Review material for accuracy and quality, propose format or presentation enhancements;
Support translation of materials as needed;
Follow/apply agreed upon organizational terms, procedures, systems, and policies;
Qualifications and Requirements:
BA or BS;
Knowledge of and working experience for a minimum of 3 years with MEHE systems and procedures highly desirable;
Strong organizational and analytical skills;
Ability to plan, organize and independently carry out workload priorities to ensure smooth and timely coordination and production;
Excellent written and oral communications skills;
Excellent communication in English and Arabic required;
Proficiency in 3 or more computer applications, including word processing.
