Technical Field Assistant Tfa - Tyre (Re-Advertised)

The TFA is expected to represent Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) Lebanon in a respectful and professional manner and always act in accordance with NRC Code of Conduct. JOB PURPOSE The main purpose of the TFA is to collect data from the field, communicate issues to the beneficiaries and supervise construction. MANAGEMENT There are no managerial requirements. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES -Carry out technical assessments of houses, in line with NRC’s Project criteria -Produce accurate CAD drawings with accurate measurement, reports, measurements (BoQs) and/or photographs as evidence of the technical assessment. -Study and understand the drawings. -To control that BOQ is respected, to approve the quality of job by the contractors and ensure adherence to time schedules. -Entry of all technical data collected from the field -To discuss and explain technical issues to the beneficiaries. -To collect technical implementation data from the field. -To support the contractors with advice. -To coordinate with the TFO for the technical activities and the relation with beneficiaries. -To make sure that the area of work is safe for the workers and the users of the houses in accordance to NRC’s procedures and safety regulations. -Keep accurate data of all the technical information and ensure that all beneficiary files are complete. -To assist the FM with the preparation of the Contracts, this will include the BOQs and Specifications.
