Nurse

Basic Function: purpose and scope   The Nurse and medical focal point will provide medical assistance and counseling in response to the needs of refugees and asylum-seekers with major and minor health problems. The Nurse and MFP will perform a variety of tasks and duties intending to find the best solution for beneficiaries and to make the project and activities successful as well as improve health conditions.  Duties performed: Refer patients with cold surgeries to be consulted by the medical consultant Assist social workers in medical tasks: Fill an assessment form for patients, Check out medical prescriptions Communication and coordination with stakeholders for medical cases   Conduct health educational sessions: develop flyers on  health subjects Conduct Training  on health education Attend health meetings Coordination with hospitals, PHCs, .... Refer refugees to hospitals and consultants with the assistance of medical consultant Home care nursing Follow up pregnant women and matrix at the end of each month Monitor chronic medications Perform hospital visits for certain patients if needed Order medications from pharmacy
