Job Purpose Summary:
The MHPSS Psychologist will report directly to MHPSS Program Manager, IMC - Libya.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
1- Contribute to the production, facilitation, monitoring, and evaluation of MHPSS trainings.
2- Facilitate community mental health awareness raising activities, and advocate for mental health and psychosocial support for vulnerable Libyan communities.
3- Provide, through collaboration with concerned partners, updates on MHPSS services mapping matrix, and update MHPSS related partners list.
4- Support interagency coordination mechanisms and procedures towards ensuring collective coordinated support and appropriate interventions by all concerned partners in provision of mental health services. This shall include close follow up on availability and quality of services provision, as well as community based psychosocial programming.
5- Ensure maximum visibility of International Medical Corps, and the agency’s donors among the Libyan community.
6- Assist in the implementation of MHPSS activities, and create a harmonized conducive work environment within the office in compliance with IMC rules and regulations.

• University degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Mental Health Sciences and or other relevant fields.
• Experience: relevant work experience in psychosocial support and PSS training.
• Familiarity with the IASC Guidelines on MHPSS.
• Languages: Fluency in oral and written English and knowledge of oral and written Arabic.
• Computer skills: Proficiency in current office software applications
• Personal qualities include a sense of initiative, self-confidence and Commitment to humanitarian issues.
• Demonstrated ability to work with partners in creating sustainable rapport.
