Project Coordinator - Center For Trainings And Development Of Prevention Projects

Oum el Nour is a Lebanese not-for-profit, Non-Governmental Organization for Rehabilitation and drug prevention, registered under notification n° 120/AD, and recognized for public benefit under decree n° 7897 since 1990.Oum el Nour is committed to serving individuals by combating addiction, in order to attain a healthy society characterized by sustainable growth. “SAIL: Skills for Adolescences to Improve Life” project is part of the center for trainings and development of prevention projects at Oum El Nour. Skills for Adolescence to Improve Life is a school based program which aims at empowering children and adolescents to lead healthy lives through life skills education. Among its most prominent objectives, that directly relating to the mandate of Oum El Nour, is the prevention of substance use and other risky behavior.  Required tasks: Prepare for, assist in and evaluate the training workshops Coordinate between the various schools implementing the life skills programs Coordinate between different partners on the project Conduct monitoring and evaluation activities (Class participation, focus groups, interviews…) Assist in the preparation of events related to the project Write and deliver ongoing activity Reports Assist in developing supplementary tools to the project Required Skills: •    Excellent communication skills •    Excellent interpersonal skills •    Good computer skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, SPSS…) •    Well-developed organizational and planning skills •    Self-motivation and strong team spirit •    Ability to speak, read and write Arabic and French proficiently. English is a plus Conditions: The position will require office and field presence from Monday till Friday from 9 am to 2 pm in addition to weekends when necessary.
