Public Health Expert

The Public Health Expert will be based in Baalbek and will be daily visiting the gathering. He / She will: Study the need of some gatherings and propose essential ideas (on hygiene and water sanitation awareness) that can be implemented within the Focus / public sessions, and /or for the campaign itself. Design, prepare and implement hygiene and water sanitation awareness sessions and deliver it to the local communities, through public and focus sessions (home stations) Design and deliver training of trainers (TOT) for the social workers and youth communities  from the gatherings, on hygiene and water sanitation awareness issues Prepare and design brochures, hand-outs, flyers and/or PowerPoint as tools for the awareness campaigns Report (In writing) on all awareness sessions delivered during the period of contract and all other activities that might be conducted under the title of hygiene and water sanitation awareness, ( including the final report of the hygiene and water sanitation awareness campaign). Manage referral of special health and hygiene hardship cases identified during the implementation of the awareness campaign   The Public Health Expert must be able to work individually and in a team. He/she will have to spend several weeks in Baalbek and sleeps there. The hygiene expert will have to live with basic comfort and accommodations (possibly collective) provided by PU-AMI if the selected candidate is not from Baalbek. This is a field position. He/She should be flexible and ready to adapt to possible modifications of the program described above, in order to contribute to the success of PU-AMIs’ projects in Lebanon He/She also takes part in the usual tasks of PU-AMI mission, and he/she is ready to get involved in the other aspects of the project if necessary.
