NO VACANCY The Last days of the Carlton [ I ] By Estefanía Peñafiel Loaiza NO VACANCY is part of The Beirut Experience exhibition taking place at the Beirut Art Center (main venue) and The HANGAR (special venue). Curated and produced by attitudes, Geneva, it brings together 10 international artists selected for their interest in notions that are essential to the dual contexts of Beirut and Lebanon. These include architecture, urban planning, memory, history or cultural identity, as well as their capacity to adapt to the complex but stimulating Lebanese situation.
