Visualization & Investigation Workshop

Visualization - when it misses the point and why Investigation - when it gets it right This short interactive presentation will look at what is going on with the use of visualization and info-graphics in the activism (advocacy) context. Some spectacular examples of how wrong can things go will maybe be presented. Second part will be switching from visual to evidence - what is it, where can you get it from, and why it matters (we will watch a short film to showcase a specific scenario looking at investigating organized crime). Who should come: People who seriously have nothing better to do on Saturday evening. Also: activists, designers, social media campaigners will find this workshop useful.
