The video targets teen adolescent girls andtheir parents, and aims at raising their awareness on sexual and reproductive health and rights andself-protection from violence and exploitation. From 6 till 7“Men in the Shadow”A documentary film produced by ABAAD. The documentary portrays three different men fromdifferent socio-economic backgrounds, who have all challenged gendered socialization and becamerole models to other men in the efforts of combating violence against women. The Ceremony will include as well: “Their Influence on My Life…”A book documenting stories shared by women survivors of violence and discrimination in Lebanon. The women portrayed how men in their circle had a positive influence in their journey to break the cycle. “Gender Equality … in Pictures”Photography exhibition on gender equality in Lebanon through the lens of a group of young men and women.
