Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conducts daily field visits to identify OVs to be willing to engage in the project
- Conduct training sessions on health and mental health while addressing the most common problems facing refugees
- Build the capacity of the OVs for active participation and control of communicable diseases, safe identification and referrals of GBV survivors and Mental Health illnesses, and malnutrition in their communities
- Raise the awareness of the OVs and communities on health promotion aspects for early preparedness and response to outbreaks, and transmission and prevention of common communicable diseases (diarrhea and acute respiratory diseases)and skin diseases
- Develop and disseminate appropriate public health education messages encouraging people to seek early care for fever, cough, diarrhea, malnutrition, especially pregnant women and children and how to access relevant services
- Supervise the day-by-day work and follow up on the achievements of the OVs by collecting their weekly reports
- Create a link between the OVs and RI’s supported health facilities
- Participate in weekly staff meetings
- Submit timely reporting as required
