We are searching for…

A videographer for the project entitled “Paving the Way” funded by the EU. The project aim is to promote women inclusion in society using media. SFCG will fund few short films to promote the project’s objectives.

The film will be used to promote the film festival and create visibility for the produced films and the project, and will be screened along with the produced films in our festival.

The film should have a story line and should depict the success of the filmmaking, the process, the crew, and cover all filming locations in Lebanon to capture the “making of” each film.

The videographer will work closely with the Communications Coordinator and the Project Coordinator  to ensure that the video is submitted on-time, within budget, and assuring the highest-quality. This includes planning, periodic meetings, and sharing the raw and final footage with the Project Coordinator and the Communications Coordinator.

Your contribution

Under the coordination of the Communication and Implementation Departments, he/she will be responsible for:

Filming the making-of of each film/activity under Paving the Way covering 9 films in different locations across Lebanon.

Coordination with the directors residing outside Lebanon to film and capture the needed scenes for the film.

Interviews with up to 10 members from the films’ crew.

Editing the collected content to produce a high-quality film for the launching event.

Provide feedback to the Communication Coordinator and the Project Coordinator and update the plan throughout the applicant’s contract duration.

Applicants must be available to commute to filming sites; fuel reimbursements to be discussed with Search for Common Ground.

The final product must be delivered by mid of February, 2018

You have...
the following qualifications:

3 to 5 years’ experience in video production

University degree or at least 3 years of relevant field experience in a similar position.

Proficiency in English and Arabic both oral and written

Skills

Excellent proven shooting and editing skills;

Experience in shooting with various camera and sound equipment;

Experience in working with local and international organizations in various environments;

Experience in developing and realizing video content about social change;

Very good capacity in problem solving;

Strong communication skills;

Good knowledge of geographically assigned environment

Flexible

Can operate in a multicultural enviroment

Excellent interpersonnel skills and team spirit;
