III. Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Establish project’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work plans, data management tools (e.g. usage of MIMOSA) and other management tools.
- Monitor all project aspects including proper identification and tracking of beneficiaries, according to IOM standards and procedures as well as donor requirements/standards with a view to recommending appropriate action for enhanced program implementation and monitoring.
- Develop work plans, project risk mitigation and/or management plans, where needed and in coordination with the donor.
- Participate in the recruitment of consultants to undertake the project’s awareness raising, training materials development, regionally-specific rapid screening and referral protocol and research components.
- Deliver thematic training to the project beneficiaries and IOM staff.
- Support Head of Office to establish and maintain strong partnerships and liaise with all project partners including government entities, local authorities, UN agencies and other implementing partners including civil society actors and the donor in the projects’ target countries.
- Promote dialogue, information-sharing and cooperation in the thematic areas of the project amongst IOM staff and external actors.
- Compile, analyze and present policies, international standards and best practices relating to the rights of victims of trafficking.
- Liaise with the Resource Management Officer in Lebanon for monitoring project budget.
- Coordinate with IOM missions targeted under the Levant project regarding implementation of the activities.
- Assist Head of office in preparing donors reports to ensure proper information exchange on all operational aspects of the project between IOM, donors and other relevant stakeholders.
- Provide regular updates to Head of Office, and RTS on the overall implementation of the project.
- Undertake duty travels as required.
- Perform such other duties as may be assigned.

- Master degree in Political or Social Sciences, Business Administration, Migration Studies, International Relations, Law or a related field from an accredited academic institution;
- Experience in managing several types of community-based projects;
- Experience in project management;
- Experience in liaising with governmental authorities, other national/ international institutions;
- Knowledge of UN, IOM and NGO mandates and programs in the field of migrant assistance and countertrafficking;
- Willing to travel as required.
