Call for Resumes – USAID Lebanon Community Support Program
DAI, an international consulting firm based in the United States, is currently accepting applications from candidates for full-time positions to support the anticipated U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Lebanon Community Support Program. The LCS program will support municipalities, targeting underserved and vulnerable communities with the goal of improving service delivery and enhancing economic opportunity to those impacted by conflict and violence, primarily in the North, South and Bekaa regions of Lebanon.
Areas of technical expertise sought include:
Improvement of municipal service delivery
Municipal budgeting and revenue generation
Procurement for municipalities
Local economic development
Administrative and management reform on a municipal level
Work with municipalities and local government entities to increase transparency and accountability
Development of public awareness and engagement campaigns and citizen engagement in local governance
Prior experience working with or in CSOs and other organizations focused on community-level civic engagement
Gender equity, youth inclusion and experience working with vulnerable populations
Areas of management expertise sought include:
Senior project management
Experience managing or leading components of Economic Growth and Democracy and Governance programs, preferably with donor programs.
Experience working with host-country government officials, international donors and private sector stakeholders
Additionally, DAI seeks local staff with demonstrated experience in the following areas:

Requirements:
Degree in related field, Master’s degree preferred
Minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience
Experience working municipalities to increase service delivery, capacity development, and/or economic development in Lebanon
Experience with USAID or other international donors highly preferred
Solid written and oral communication skills
Fluency in English
Fluency in Arabic and French highly preferred
