Purpose of the consultancy
SDA seeks a trainer to design and deliver pedagogical training to sciences and mathematics teachers in Beirut/Jounieh and Tripoli and a follow-up at schools.
At the end of the training, the teachers should be able to:
- Work with the students on tangible situations of the industrial world
- Rely on experimentation and inquiry-based approach in class
- Integrate ICT in science teaching
Requirements
The Consultant/trainer should possess the following competencies, and experience:
- More than 5 years of teaching experience in sciences and/or mathematics;
- Strong pedagogical expertise
- Strong understanding of the technical schools’ context and the Industrial specialties;
- Previous experience in designing and conducting training;
- Patience and positive attitude is highly requested;
- Strong communication skills;
- Command of spoken and written Arabic, English and/or French

SDA recherche un formateur pour créer et dispenser des formations pédagogiques aux professeurs de mathématiques et sciences à Beyrouth, Jounieh et Tripoli. Un suivi devra aussi être effectué afin de mesurer l’impact des formations.
À la fin de la formation, l’enseignant sera capable de :
- Travailler avec les apprenants des situations applicables à la spécialité industrielle ;
- S’appuyer sur l’expérimentation pour faire classe et maîtriser la démarche inductive en sciences et en mathématiques ;
- Intégrer les TIC dans l’enseignement des sciences et mathématiques afin de modéliser les expérimentations.
Conditions
Le formateur/consultant doit posséder les compétences/expériences suivantes :
- Plus de 5 années d’expérience dans l’enseignement en sciences et/ou mathématiques
- Une expertise pédagogique solide
- Une bonne compréhension du contexte technique dans lequel les Instituts évoluent
- De la patience et une attitude positive
- Des compétences de communication solide
- Maîtrise de l’arabe écrit et parlé, de l’anglais ou/et du français
