Educator and Animator

As an educator, the following tasks are required:

1) Prepare and deliver the lessons to the assigned classes as the agreed curriculum .

2) Organize activities designed to promote development, such as games, arts and crafts, music, and storytelling.

3) Ensure equipments used are clean, well maintained, and safe at all times

4 Evaluate children's performance and behavior (Fill in evaluation sheet daily)

5) Identify children showing signs of emotional, developmental, or health-related problems, and discuss them accordingly.

6) Maintain accurate and complete student records as required by administrative regulations.

7) Meet with parents to discuss their children's progress and needs.

8) Plan and supervise assignments for teacher assistants and volunteers.

9) Teach proper personal hygiene and social skills.

10) Establish and enforce rules for behavior.

11) Attend meetings on weekly basis.

12) Be present on duty as scheduled.

As an Animator, the following tasks are required:

1) Promote, ensure and establish the child as a central actor in the activities. Act in the best interest of the child according to the Children’s Rights and the core values of INSAN Association.

2) Plan, Organize and implement recreational and educational activities for targeted children and youth.

3) Define the activities to be implemented according to the children’s ages and situation, taking into consideration their interests and passion. 

4) Maintain daily attendance sheets for all activities and enter them on the database.

5) Make daily reporting of the activities conducted to the project coordinator indicating the program followed and evaluating the activity development. (using the special template provided and enter them into the database whenever needed).

6) Keep a close eye on the issues of child protection and identify within the activities the children in need of further assistance and refer them to the specialized departments and INSAN services.

7) Attend coordination and evaluation meetings whenever requested.

8) Maintain the equipment and material used for the activities and keep them organized and unharmed.
