Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator

Duties & Responsibilities: 

• Support in developing and implementing TDH IT M&E strategy
• Develop monitoring plans, tools and indicators and coordinate with project/field staff for the data collection
• Supervise needs/vulnerability assessment data collections
• Maintain and constantly develop M&E tools and supervise the data collection, ensuring the quality of data
• Perform analysis on the collected data and draft analysis reports
• Closely monitor the progress of the projects, attending the coordination meetings
• Provide the management with relevant timely updates on targets against the project Logical Framework and the monitoring plan and
• Suggest solutions to Project Managers to increase the project’s efficiency and effectiveness.
• Train and support field and TDH IT partners’ staff in data collection through the designed tools
• Conduct regular field visits to TDH IT projects locations and Focus Group Discussion with field staff and beneficiaries
• Attending, on behalf of TDH IT, sector/cluster and inter-agency meetings

Qualifications & Experience: 

• University degree in International Relations, Sociology, Political Science, Statistical Science or a related field;
• 5 and more years of relevant progressively responsible professional experience, including at the field level, in the NGO system;
• 5 years demonstrated experience implementing M&E programs in emergency or post-conflict projects;
• High proficiency in Micorsoft Excel and Word;
• Demonstrated experience in quantitative/qualitative data collection and analysis and in reporting;
• Strong personnel leadership skills, particularly mentoring skills;
• Experience in working with a diverse team;
• Excellent communication skills, cultural sensitivity, flexibility, ability to improvise, team player; Ability to live and productively work under stress and in insecure and harsh environments.
