Fundraising Officer (FO)

Duties and responsibilities:

He/she Will write funding proposals for new and existing projects in consultation with Director of Fundraising.

He/she Will  take daily responsibility for the routine administration of individual donations.

He/She Will take lead responsibility for updating and maintaining records on the database. 

He/She Will produce database reports as required

He/She Will reconcile departmental accounts with Finance Manager periodically and as required.

He/She Will maintain and work to an accurate personal work-plan of scheduled fundraising activity and proposal submissions and ensure timely and accurate reporting to donors

He/She Will recruit, supervise and manage fundraising volunteers and interns as agreed with line management.

He/She Will respond to inbound communications about fundraising as appropriate.

He/She Will undertake any other duties as may be reasonably requested from time to time by line management.

Desirable Qualities

Experience of fundraising 

Experience of producing project budgets

Experience of report writing

Experience of working in a multicultural environment

Knowledge of languages other than English
