Impact Analyst

Objective

The Impact Analyst will be in charge of establishing the Monitoring and Evaluation System of Berytech in order to facilitate the development of a yearly impact report.

The Impact Analyst will be responsible for setting up a clear impact monitoring system for all Berytech departments in order to measure the results of Berytech’s initiatives, interventions and programs over the years and their outcome/influence on the Lebanese Economy for the past years.

The Impact Analyst will be responsible for setting up Key Performance Indicators, and Data Collection, Management, Analysis, Interpretation and Presentation for the achievements of better outcome of the organization.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Do a Needs Assessment exercise of Berytech that will result in identifying what we have, what is needed, and the strategy to achieve these needs;
  • Define and set Key Performance Indicators that will form the base of this activity and any future activities of this sort;
  • Conduct interviews and meetings with stakeholders that have either worked, benefitted, or partnered with Berytech in order to collect necessary information helpful for this consultancy;
  • Collect data from Berytech as well as from the supported start-ups and projects by using several tools to ensure the data collected is accurate, fair, and whole;
  • Analyze the collected data on a regular basis and report the findings to management in order to ensure that this insight is used to enhance and support the methodology as well as the business development activities;
  • Cooperate with the various Berytech departments in order to incorporate this activity within their scope of work;
  • Train Berytech team members to use the system in place and ensure that these tasks and activities are appraised in the yearly appraisal (explanation: to ensure their buy-in)
  • Set-up the monitoring system and processes to be integrated within Berytech’s departments along with the necessary tools and respective training required to realise it;
  • Develop the final report while integrating visual charts taking the shape of an Infographic Design, presenting all the meaningful findings;
  • Conduct a final project evaluation and provide recommendation to management team

Required Experience
• Experience in impact monitoring, and quantitative & qualitative analysis;
• Experience in commissioning evaluation from third parties, to meet agreed objectives.

Education and Skills
• A minimum of a master’s degree in Business Development, Economics, Statistics, or any other relevant field relevant to this consultancy;
• Excellent English written and oral communication skills;
• Knowledge about Not-for-Profit Organizations and the ecosystem surrounding start-ups, innovators, and entrepreneurs;
• Highly developed analytical skills, with the ability to apply creative solutions to complex problems;
• Ability to create effective and efficient systems for gathering and analyzing complex data.
