Responsibilities and Essential Functions
- Identify children with acute malnutrition and refer them to selected health centers
- Screen for acute malnutrition by measuring mid upper arm circumference (MUAC) of children 6-59 months of age at the community level
- Provide key messages on health and nutrition topics to caregivers
- Submit daily and weekly reports to the area supervisor
- Attend IOCC-related staff meeting when required
- Perform other duties as necessary.
Qualifications
- Fluency in reading/writing/speaking Arabic is necessary
- Good communication skills
- Strong social, interpersonal and intercultural skills
- Willingness to work with displaced Syrians and Palestinians.
- Team spirit
- Able to meet deadlines
- Computer literacy: Microsoft Word, Excel.
