Flying Hygiene Agent – Bekaa (Baalbek/Majdal Anjar) - 50%

-Function responsibilities include:

• Know and apply specific hygiene protocols and security rules.

• Maintain clean and disinfected the infrastructures allocated to his/her position including the furniture, doors, walls and floor and some medical material (rooms of patients, of consultation, laboratory, delivery room, waiting room, staff room, storage room, kitchen, bathroom and latrines) applying specific protocols and using the tools and equipment provided.

• Collect and evacuate waste produced and by medical structures to the designated site, previously sorted by medical staff, empty out dustbins as often as necessary to ensure an efficient quality of care and safe environment.

• Report any repair or maintenance work needed related to hygiene to the supervisor, as well as any relevant information related to his/her responsibilities.

• Ensure availability of hygiene and sanitation products, and draw up orders for on-going needs. • Clean floors, equipment, beds, toilets and showers according to protocols and schedule.

• Carry out laundry activities according to protocols -Specific activities: The Hygiene Agent can be requested to assist in the sterililzation process as follows:

• According to MSF protocols, carry out the washing, drying, disinfection, and packaging of the material and surgical linen.

• Perform any other tasks, as requested.

-Education required: Literacy. Internally trained by MSF
