Conflict Resolution consultants

We are looking to recruit two conflict resolution consultants, one male and one female that will work under a peace-building project implemented in Bab-Al-Tabbaneh Area in Tripoli by Utopia, and funded by IOM. Each of them will be working closely with one community group in the area, and supporting them to identify, plan, develop and implement social interventions in their area.

The consultants will be responsible for

• Working closely with a community group of Lebanese and Syrian individuals, and maintaining weekly follow-ups with them.
• Organizing and facilitating several brainstorming and planning workshops for the community group to identify social threats and possible social interventions.
• Assisting the community group to create, plan, develop and implement a community project.
• Wisely acting as a mediator between the committee members, and take prevention initiatives to minimize the tension and prevent any possible disputes or conflicts.
• Offering psycho-social support and coaching for the committee members to allow them to resolve disputes peacefully.
• Following up regularly with the trainer of the group, and the project coordinator.
•  Provide reports regularly on the situation of the committee. In addition to reports for the workshops and the community project.
• Supporting the project coordinator in any other related manners.
