About Us

Economic Development Solutions (EDS) is a consulting and research firm established in 2017, with its core team of economists and policy specialists. EDS’ mission is to provide academic level quality research and consulting solutions to economic development actors, including public entities and international development agencies. EDS gathers a team of trained economists and political scientists with experience in academia, project development, and implementation.

Scope of Work

EDS is looking for qualified field supervisors across Lebanon (North, Bekaa and Mount Lebanon) to ensure smooth and accurate data collection for its on-going project. There are 15 positions available.

Supervisors should have:

-        A good understanding of the local context of the local communities in the region of interest.

-        The ability to use a computer, tablet, word-processing, and spreadsheets (excel).

-        The ability to lead and work in teams.

Relevant experience in data collection for national surveys and socio-economic projects is a plus.

NOTE: Supervisor should be available from July 1st till August 15 2018.

Responsibilities and Tasks

The Supervisor(s) will work with the support of the EDS team and under the direct supervision of the EDS regional Coordinator. He/she will supervise and support a group of enumerators in selected region.

The Supervisor must attend a training session from July 16 till July 20.

The Supervisor is responsible for organizing and conducting surveys.

The Supervisor should send daily updates to the Regional Coordinator.   

The Supervisor will assist the Regional Coordinator in conducting any other tasks related to the implementation of the fieldwork.

NOTE: He/She must have a car.
