PROJECT COORDINATOR

1.DUTIES (Duties are tasks related to achieving the work requirements by this position)
• Closely coordinate and follow-up with the partners and work groups engaged in the projects in hand including municipality /union, local partners, contractors...
• Close monitoring and follow up for proper implementation of the projects in hand
• Achieve project deliverables in line with the project plan
• Report project issues to concerned Projects Manager
• Follow-up frequently on project developments and progress to ensure compliance and proper implementation of activities
• Conduct regular field visits to assigned projects
• Monitor project progress and performance
• Ensure that funded projects and activities are in compliance with USAID regulations and that sub-awardees’ outputs are as per their respective proposals
• Monitor the technical quality of the work in coordination with the Sr. Engineer to ensure all projects are technically sounds and meet safety standards
• Provide site visits and status reports on regular basis to the concerned Projects Manager
• Assist to community engagement activities throughout the project implementation phase
• Monitor the environmental compliance checklist for the project
• Follow-up all technical / M & E activities necessary for proper project implementation to reach the set M & E targets
• Assist the Projects Manager in the planning of the project launching ceremony, training and closure event
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

• Effectively able to develop, set and adjust plans and priorities to achieve maximum productivity

3. Computer Skills

• Proficient in MS Office applications Including Word, Excel and power Point.
