Consultant IT / Platform developer

Responsibilities and Essential Functions

Based on MOPH pre-existing intranet system, and hosted on the MOPH server, the consultant IT/platform developer is responsible for developing an EPI (Expanded Program on Immunization) platform capable of hosting and merging the vaccination data of children coming from outreach screening activities and vaccination points (either using PHENICS mobile application, VaxyNation platform or not), borders and UNHCR vaccination sites. 

The consultant shall be also responsible for the following:  

  1. Develop the platform / web-application with all its component
    1. NGO outreach module
    2. Health centers module 
    3. NGOs follow-up module
    4. Borders and UNHCR VP module 
  2. Develop the training and coaching protocols
  3. Technical monitor for the implementation
  4. Coach local data managers to ensure correct data flow
  5. Work within the team of IT developers involved in the project

Deliverables

 1st month: achieved NGO outreach module, training plan and protocol

2rd Month: Achieved NGOs follow-up module and Health centers mod

 

Qualifications

Knowledge, skills and abilities

The following minimum qualifications are required:

  • A proficient command of Arabic and English
  • IT certificate (diploma/ University degree/LT Programing)
  • Experience in development of web applications.
  • Excellent knowledge MVC, C#, Backbone.js, JQuery, Java Script, HTML, Bootstrap.
  • Good knowledge in Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Experience in DevExpress dashboard development is a plus

Experience

  • A minimum of 1 year of development web application
  • A minimum of 1 year of development using MVC, C#, Backbone.js, JQuery, Java Script, HTML, Bootstrap.
  • Experience of development of solutions for primary health care or immunization programs is a plus.
