Kindergarten Tutor

JRS has 2 Tutoring vacancies in two different areas in Bar Elias - Beqaa:

1-   Mikseh

2-   Telyani

Key Responsibilities

• Tutor basic academic skills, including alphabet, letter recognition, numbers, and others in Arabic and English (reading and writing).
• Tailor the lessons according to the abilities of the children in the classroom.
• Lead students through creative play and hands-on activities.
• Coordinate with school principal and other kindergarten tutors.
• Attend regular tutors’ and parents’ meetings.
• Apply JRS policies.

Knowledge, Skills and Personal Attributes

• Bachelor or any relevant degree to the major.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and team working skills.
• Good cultural awareness and sensitivity.
• Highly approachable, trustworthy and confidential.
• Experience in planning class programs.
• Experience in participatory programs.
• Must be capable of tutoring 2 languages; Arabic and English.
• Experience in working with refugees is a plus.

Working Schedule and conditions

Work Schedule:

• Monday through Friday from 8:00 to 12:00 for the AM Shift.

         Or

• Monday through Friday from 12:00 to 4:00 for the PM Shift.

2-   Telyani (The working conditions in this area is hard – location next to a camp).
