Junior consultant / Intern. Assessment of Youth Needs and Priorities in Lebanon.

 

The main objectives of the rapid youth assessment are the following:

1.         Map out current national and local laws and policies on youth, as well as the key players in youth programming in Lebanon and Jordan, with focus on youth civic engagement

2.         Identify priority needs of youth (aged 15-29) residing in Lebanon and Jordan, with focus on youth civic engagement

3.         Identify main gaps in youth programming and policies in Lebanon and Jordan, with focus on youth civic engagement

4.         Develop area-specific recommendations to address priority needs and gaps identified

The overall purpose of this assessment is to inform and help guide Porticus Strategy development for youth programming in Lebanon and Jordan for the upcoming years. Right to Play Lebanon seeks a dynamic junior consultant/intern to support its team in carrying out the youth assessment in Lebanon (data collection, desk review, analysis, etc.). The Lebanon Junior Consultant is only expected to merge the final findings and write-up for both countries in one consistent report.

 

The duration for this project is 2 months/9 weeks (July 23 to September 21, 2018). The junior consultant/intern in Lebanon will work under the guidance of the Monitoring & Evaluation Officer in Lebanon and the Program Managers in the country office. He/she will be supported by RTP Leb staff in the qualitative data collection. The overall activities and deliverables for the junior consultant/intern can be summarized in the table below:

Note: Competitive budgets would be considered, with a ceiling of maximum USD 3,000.
