A communications intern is a dynamic, self-starter who will assist in tasks such as promoting and marketing. This internship is an excellent opportunity to experience various aspects of working with social media platforms, and working for a well-known organization
DUTIES:
- Shadowing members of the communications department as they perform their duties.
- Using social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc.) for current and potential campaigns.
- Developing relevant content topics to reach Caritas target audience
- Assist in creating and monitoring all published contents.
- Monitoring, listening and responding to followers
- Learning how to work in the communications team to manage social media marketing campaigns and support the association
- Taking on additional tasks or projects, to learn more about communications and office operations
SKILLS
- Recent graduate or working towards a Bachelor’s in Marketing/Communications or Public relations
- Basic understanding of available tools and platforms on social media.
- Aptitude for Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and complete computer literacy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of efficiency, accuracy and responsibility
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
