Construction Supervisor

Main Purpose

 Supervising and monitoring the construction and establishment of the sorting plant, according to Anera’s standards, protocols and procedures in order to ensure the efficient running of the project. The supervisor will report to the Project Manager and under the guidance of the engineering consultant.

Main Duties

•  Supervising and monitoring on a day-to-day basis construction activities in the project ensuring compliance of Aner’s standards, protocols and procedures.  This includes the following tasks: 
•  Analyzing, according to the contractor requirements and Anera’s programs( consultant, Project Manager ) , the needs for construction  works and reporting to the line manager accordingly, in order to provide the necessary information to find an appropriate and efficient solution, including planning of (financial, technical, material and human) resources that meet the mission needs.
•  Supervising and following up through regular visits the work of construction in progress, in order to ensure deadlines, budget and technical specifications and to early detect potential deviations.
•  Negotiating agreements and permissions for construction project establishing regular contacts with local authorities, in order to ensure all required documentation is filled upon and to avoid delays.
•  Supervising activities in order to ensure the best technical and financial conditions
•  Supervising and leading the logistic implementation under his/her responsibility including the definition of each person's tasks (daily supervision and checking the quality of their work); drawing up working schedule;  organizing and leading field meetings
•   Supervise and follow up the work through daily site visit of the sorting plant construction in Majdal Anjar/ Temnine El Faouqa    (in order to ensure deadlines, budget and technical specifications and to early detect potential deviations
•  Daily checking of the quantities installed by the contractor (quantity control)
•  Ensure that the contractor workers respect safety rules on the worksite
•  Ensure that the material is in accordance with the technical specifications and are appropriate (quality control)
