Community Engagement Manager (CEM)

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. To design and manage multiyear and yearly plans for the Community outreach and engagement projects, with their Monitoring and Evaluation plans, in Lebanon and abroad.
2. To coach and monitor the coordinators and committees of the different Networks, and provide them with the needed support and leadership capacities building.
3. To manage the implementation of the Community engagement projects.
4. To maintain and develop a trustful, personalized and proactive relation between Adyan and the religious leaders network and among them.
5. To plan and implement the needed trainings and capacity building activities for the members of Networks, in collaboration with the Training Unit at the Institute of Citizenship and Diversity Management in Adyan.
6. To manage the implementation of the community outreach activities, as Awareness sessions, Community service initiatives, Spiritual solidarity events, etc.
7. To ensure, in collaboration with the Media department, the right visibility and contribution of the Networks to the propagation of Adyan’s message.
8. To manage the communication with the religious leaders and Networks’ committees through their specific communication tools (WhatsApp groups, etc.).
9. To represent Adyan, and ensure our presence on the field, in relation with the Networks activities and other community events.
10. To sustain and develop the relation of Adyan with community leaders and other stakeholders (religious authorities, civil society and faith based organizations, etc.).
11. To design and manage the projects’ related budgets in collaboration with the financial department.
12. To maintain an accurate and functional database related to all the Networks.
13. To report internally and to the donors about the projects, and to maintain and develop a strategic and effective relationship with the donors.
14. To manage the staff, when applicable, working in the Community engagement programs, and reporting to the Community Engagement Manager. 

REQUIREMENTS

1. Master degree in Humanities, Social or religious sciences, with high interest and knowledge in religions and social studies.
2. Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in similar fields.
3. Professional command of spoken and written English and Arabic; French is a plus.
4. Professional command of computer (Word, Excel, Internet communication and navigation, etc.).
5. Leadership skills and strong capacity for planning and organization.
6. Excellent written and oral communication skills, with high social relational capacity.
