RESPONSABILITIES AND TASKS
I. Implementation
- To follow and adhere to available SoPs and guidelines;
- To participate actively in trainings on questionnaires/templates/tools and suggest improvements when applicable;
- To lead quantitative and qualitative data collection on the field,
- To lead field testing and small scale sampling in the field;
- To provide timely feedback on tools and templates used on the field;
- When needed, to liaise with other departments to ensure accurate data collection;
- To undertake any other task requested from the manager, including support to other departments
II. Internal and external reporting
- To verbally contribute and participate within weekly unit meetings including accurate reporting on success and challenges;
- When needed and requested from the manager, to clean the data that is collected each day;
- To provide reports as needed or requested
- To ensure all data is uploaded each day;
- To identify and refer to the manager any vulnerable case that can be referred externally/internally.
III. Capitalization/Institutional Knowledge Building
- To contribute in designing tools and assessments through lessons learnt combined with field experience;
- To participate actively in internal and external trainings/ team workshops/ lessons learnt seminars;
IV. Communication & Follow up
- To respond to beneficiaries’ queries with good knowledge of relevant information when approached;
- To comply with humanitarian principles, as well as SHEILD rules and policies including safety and security.
- To respond to any requests within SHEILD that might require an alternative communication method or plan of action;
- To maintain an open and transparent channel of communication with the manager, and report any issue that might affect the department’s work and functioning.

- To conduct SHEILD related activities in a professional manner and integrating humanitarian principles;
Mandatory requirements
- Residency: to be resident in Nabatiye District
- Language skills: Fluent in Arabic and working English (speaking/reading/writing),
- Education degree: Secondary diploma,
- Work experience: Experience in NGOs/On-site training in social or monitoring work,
- Knowledge & skills: Good analytical and writing skills/Very good team spirit/ Demonstrate willingness to improve own knowledge and skills by participating actively in any training sessions and capacity building activities,
- Computer skills: Knowledge of the MS office software (including Word, Excel, Outlook).
