Registered Nurse

Clinical Activities:   

• Perform nursing care based on physical and psychosocial needs according to accreditation standards implemented by the Ministry of Public Health and Accreditation Canada.
• Perform Routine Vaccination according to the national calendar of immunization. (should vaccinate all children referred to the PHC).
• Data entry on KOBO application for children referred
• Apply hygiene standards, infection control and occupational safety rules.
• Ensure that quality and continuity of care are respected.
• Identification of emergency situation and information of the doctor.
• Manage efficiently the medical equipment, follow-up of medical stock, storage conditions, and inventories, follow-up of expired items and medications.
• Carry out when necessary patient counseling.

Experience required: One year in nursing care.
