Field Officer (Livelihood) - South

Job Purpose:

The Field Officer (Livelihood) operates under the supervision of the Project Manager of INTERSOS and he/she is responsible for the effective and efficient management and monitoring of the project activities.

Generic Duties:

• To collaborate with the partner municipalities under the supervision of the project manager.
• To participate regularly, together with the Project Manager, to coordination and monitoring meetings with the communities and with other stakeholders.
• To organize and plan in collaboration with the municipalities, and under the supervision of the Project Manager, the rehabilitation and construction activities.
• To regularly supervise the activities and report any problems to the Project Manager.
• To ensure constant technical monitoring of rehabilitation and construction activities.
• To develop monthly reports on progress in the implementation of activities.
• To collect data on the beneficiaries, on the progress of the activities and the project indicators.
• Data processing and analysis to report to the Project Manager.
• To perform risk assessment and propose appropriate mitigation strategies.

Competencies:  (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

Professional Competencies:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Previous experience with NGOs in emergency and / or development projects.
• Good knowledge of the intervention area and related problems.
• Proficiency in MS office (word, excel..)
• Driving licence issued since more than 1 year.
