Launch event creative coordinator / curator

Sharq is hosting an event in Beirut in November to launch "Tarikhi: The Library of Arab World Voices".
The online library is a culmination of Sharq's seven years of work in the field of oral histories and includes hundreds of recorded interviews with individuals in or about the Arab world on a variety of topics ranging from culture, human rights and livelihoods, produced by Sharq and other individuals and
organisations.

Assignment
We are seeking an experienced event organiser and creative director to conceptualise and coordinate an event that will include exhibitions, talks, performances and other outputs that showcase the content and value of the oral history library.

This is a two-month part-time assignment to be run remotely with the support of Sharq and its team.

Fluency in English is required. Fluency in Arabic is preferred.
