Syrian Refugees in Jordan and Lebanon: A Snapshot from Summer 2013

This report points out a number of salient issues that should be further addressed by those concerned with Syrian refugees and their impact on neighboring host countries.  The focus of this research is on two obvious, but often overlooked human elements of the crisis: the impact of the Syrian presence on the host populations of Jordan and Lebanon, and refugees’ perceptions of their future, the prospect of return, and the future of their country.
