OBJECTIVE
The OV Officer will be responsible of managing the OV team, following up on implementations of their program including the community based initiatives.
DUTIES
- Contribute in preparing relevant documents (including brochures, information notes, information board updates) for target communities;
- Organize and conduct the OV’s (outreach volunteers) meetings and trainings on monthly basis in collaboration with project coordinator and UNHCR;
- Coordinating with the OVs concerning the field visits to be conducted in their areas and referrals;
- Participate into the planning of the education activities including focus groups, awareness sessions, trainings, and others;
- Managing the need assessment process with the OVs
- Conducting regular meetings with the OV team to assess the community situation and to assess the problems and challenges
- Ensure that data is accurately collected on a daily/weekly and monthly basis;
- Providing periodic reports to the Project Coordinator & to the donor
- Enquiring about the services provided by other NGOs in the community and disseminate Caritas Lebanon services

EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar field, an experience in needs assessment would be a plus
- 2 to 4 years of experience preferably in Management/Community Mobilization
- Experience with NGOs working with Refugees and education programs
