kindergarten Teacher

Job Title: KG Teacher 

  Writes his/her "Yearly Professional Plan" (YPP)* in coordination with the Kindergarten Coordinator; provides periodic reports on the progress of YPP.
 -          Creates a classroom atmosphere that is conducive to learning using interactive teaching approaches.
 -          Sets annual and periodic subject objectives and syllabi at the beginning of the year.
 -          Prepares and delivers lessons to a range of classes in accordance with the set respective frameworks, and using appropriate supportive illustrations and material.
 -          Submits written students evaluations to Kindergarten Coordinator in a defined period of time.
 -          Provides a range of experiences and activities for children including songs, storytelling, art and physical education sessions.
 -          Be ready to pick up and carry children and equipment, and may spend time sitting on the floor or chills sized furniture.
 -          Expect to clean and maintain equipment and facility.
 -          Evaluates students' academic development, keeps appropriate records, prepares progress reports, and communicates with parents on the individual students' progress.
 -          Manages students' behavior in the classroom appropriately in accordance with the school rules.
 -          Attends departmental meetings, parents meetings, workshops, and training sessions during and outside school hours.
 -          Supervises students as needed.
 -          Participates in the orientation of new teachers.
 -          Replaces absent teachers whenever needed.
 -          Being ready with all needed resources or materials before starting class.
 -          Performs other duties of similar nature as requested by the Kindergarten coordinator / Academic Coordinator / school principal.
 * Yearly plan of action specifying goals to be achieved and tasks to be performed with specific dates.

Experience required: 1-2 Years Experience
 
Education degree: Bachelor Degree in the field

Working Days:    Mondays through Fridays.
Working Hours:   7:30 a.m. till 3:00 p.m.
