MYSQL Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implement physical changes to databases; code and test SQL, applying knowledge of database management.
• Communicate or direct communication of database changes to affected parties.
• Review and evaluate description of changes to database designs
• Understand impact of database changes and make recommendations as appropriate Consult with project managers to design appropriate solutions.
• Writing queries to be used in organizational reports
• Using queries for data cleaning
• Optimization of queries for optimal performance of reports
• Participates on project teams for assigned system projects; analyzes improvements and new applications and develops requirements and specifications with team.
• Helps develop specification, program and documentation standards. Maintains functional operation of assigned production systems. Provides input to application manager on reviews of programmers and programmer/analysts, and helps to identify training needs.
